چکیده

Certificateless public key cryptography (CLPKC), with properties of no key escrow and no certificate, has received a lot of attention since its invention. However, membership revocation in certificateless cryptosystem still remains a non-trivial problem: the existing solutions are not practical for use due to either a costly mediator or enormous computation (secret channel). In this paper, we present a new approach to revocation in CLPKC with a concrete construction of a revocable certificateless signature (RCLS) scheme. In our scheme, a user’s private key is composed of three parts: an initial partial private key, a time key and a secret value. The transmission of updated-key requires only a public channel, which makes our RCLS scheme more efficient than other methods. We first provide formal definition and security model for a RCLS scheme. The new scheme is proved secure in the random oracle model, based on the Computational Diffie-Hellman problem. keywords: revocation, certificateless signature, Computational DiffieHellman problem, random oracle model.

A Revocable Online-Offline Certificateless Signature Scheme without Pairing

Certificateless Public key Cryptography is a widely studied paradigm due to its advantages of not having the key-escrow problem and the lack of use of certificates. Online-Offline signature schemes are extremely relevant today because of their great practical applications. In an online-offline signature scheme all the heavy computation is done on powerful processors and stored securely in the o...

Pairing-Free and Revocable Certificateless Signature Against Signing Key Exposure

Certificateless public key schemes without pairing have attracted much attention for its relatively high efficiency. The revocation problem is a very necessary issue in a public key cryptosystem. However, there have been some solutions to the certificateless revocation problem; they still suffer from low efficiency or security weakness. In this paper, we propose a revocable certificateless sign...

A Revocable Certificateless Short Signature Scheme and Its Authentication Application

Certificateless short signature (CLSS) possesses the advantages of both certificateless signature and short signature. CLSS eliminates the certificate management in conventional signatures and solves the key escrow problem in ID-based signatures. In the meantime, due to its short signature length, CLSS reduces the bandwidth for communication so that it is suitable for some specific authenticati...

Lattice-Based Revocable Certificateless Signature

Certificateless signatures (CLS) are noticeable because they may resolve the key escrow problem in ID-based signatures and break away the management problem regarding certificate in conventional signatures. However, the security of the mostly previous CLS schemes relies on the difficulty of solving discrete logarithm or large integer factorization problems. These two problems would be solved by...

Reattack of a Certificateless Aggregate Signature Scheme with Constant Pairing Computations

A new attack against a novel certificateless aggregate signature scheme with constant pairing computations is presented. To enhance security, a new certificateless signature scheme is proposed first. Then a new certificateless aggregate signature scheme with constant pairing computations based on the new certificateless signature scheme is presented. Security analysis shows that the proposed ce...
